One Thumbnail is a free tool for downloading public cover images from YouTube, TikTok, and Instagram. This page explains what happens to information when you use the site. Brazilian visitors are covered by the Lei Geral de Proteção de Dados (LGPD, Law 13.709/2018).

What the tool does with a link

You do not need an account. The link you paste is used only to find and deliver the cover image.

• YouTube. The browser reads the public thumbnail address from the video id. That check stays on your device.
• TikTok. The link is sent to our server, which opens the public page and reads the cover TikTok publishes. The link is not saved in a database.
• Instagram. The public post or reel address is sent to our server and then to Microlink (api.microlink.io) to read the cover. Private posts are not fetched.
• Download. For TikTok and Instagram, the image address is sent to our server so it can fetch the file and hand it back to your browser. The file is not stored after that response.

What stays on your device

Recent links are saved in your browser’s local storage so the page can show them again. That list never leaves the device unless you paste a link and search. Clearing the site data in your browser deletes it.

Cookies and advertising

The tool itself does not set an advertising or analytics cookie. The host that serves the site may keep ordinary connection logs, including your IP address, to deliver the page and prevent abuse.

This site does not show ads today. If Google advertising is added later, Google may set cookies to measure and display those ads. That will be described here before the ads go live. Google’s own description is at policies.google.com/technologies/ads.

Who else receives data

We do not sell personal data. A TikTok or Instagram link, or an image address, is shared only with the service needed to fetch that public cover: TikTok, Instagram’s public image host, and Microlink for Instagram. The site is hosted outside Brazil, so a link or an IP address may be processed in another country for that request.

Your rights

Under the LGPD you can ask for confirmation that we process your data, access, correction, deletion, anonymization, portability, and information about who we shared it with. You can also object to a use or revoke consent, and you can file a complaint with the Autoridade Nacional de Proteção de Dados (ANPD). Because the tool does not keep an account or a copy of the links, there is usually nothing stored to return. The recent-link list is on your device and you can delete it there.

Children

One Thumbnail is not directed at children. Do not paste a link if you are under the age required in your country to consent to this kind of use.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be published on this page with a new date.
